This is your DFS Minute for NFL Week 17. Here are my Draftkings, Fanduel, and Owners Box lineups for the Sunday slate of games.
Anyone that plays Daily Fantasy Sports wants their share of the pie. May you find this week’s lineups to be helpful in putting some cash in your pockets. Last week for the DFS Minute Week 16 the Fanduel lineup finished in the money after removing Dalving Cook and replacing him with Mattison.
Quarterback
Jalen Hurts: Fanduel $7,900/Draftkings $6,600
Jalen Hurts continues to come at an incredible value on the DFS sites. This week is no different. Hurts faces the Washington Football Team for the second time in three weeks. In the Week 15 matchup, he had three touchdowns, two of them were rushing. After watching Dak Prescott tear Washington apart last week I expect another solid performance from Hurts.
Running Backs
Damien Harris: Fanduel $7,400/Draftkings $6,600
David Montgomery: Fanduel $7,200/Draftkings $6,500
Damien Harris may not be getting 20 or more carries a game but he has made the most of every opportunity this season. Harris has four touchdowns and over 200 yards in his last two games. You can expect Bill Belichek to keep the ball in Harris’ hands this week against Jacksonville to secure the win.
David Montgomery has been a frequent flyer on the DFS Minute as of late. The carries are there for Montgomery and the receptions have been as well. The Chicago Bears running back has five receptions or more four weeks in a row. Last week Montgomery had a receiving and rushing touchdown. Montgomery should see 20 carries again this week.
Wide Receivers
Devonta Smith: Fanduel $6,100/Draftkings $6,300
Brandon Aiyuk: Fanduel $5,900/Draftkings $5,900
Tee Higgins: Fanduel $7,000/Draftkings $6,900
Devonta Smith is my stack to go along with Hurts this week. Last week Smith had five catches for 80 yards and a touchdown. I expect Smith to see another five to eight targets this week. Devonta Smith is approaching 1000 yards in his rookie season and I think we may see him hit that number this week against the Washington Football Team.
Brandon Aiyuk has become consistent since his early-season follies. If the team does in fact start Trey Lance I could see it causing people to shy away from Aiyuk due to the play style of Lance combined with Deebo Samuel and the San Francisco running backs. I like to be unconventional and I think that guy is Aiyuk this week.
I am going back to Tee Higgins this week. Higgins has been flat-out dominant recently other than the Denver Broncos game. If you feel Higgins may be a chalk play this week, I would not blame you for using Tyler Boyd as a cheaper option. I think at least one Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver should be in your lineup.
Tight End and D/ST
Mark Andrews: Fanduel $8,700
Brevin Jordan: Draftkings $2,800
Miami Dolphins: Fanduel $3,600/Draftkings $2,800
My tight-end picks this week are Mark Andrews and Brevin Jordan. Mark Andrews has been the best tight end in football and does not need anyone defending him to put him in a DFS lineup. Do it. Brevin Jordan comes at an incredible value for someone that has seen his production increase slowly. Due to budget Jordan is a perfect fit on Draftkings.
The Miami Dolphins had a great week 16 against the New Orleans Saints. The Dolphins turned Ian Book into a short essay. I expect their defense to step up again this week against the Tennessee Titans.
Flex
Zach Ertz: Fanduel $5,500/Draftkings $5,200
In my flex spot this week I am going with a second tight-end. Zach Ertz has been the beneficiary of the Deandre Hopkins injury. Ertz has had 24 targets in the last two weeks. His biggest downfall has been the lack of touchdowns. I think that changes this week against the Dallas Cowboys.
Values and Honorable Mentions
Joe Burrow, QB: Fanduel $7,700/Draftkings $6,900
Jeff Wilson Jr, RB: Fanduel $6,700/Draftkings $5,600
Amari Cooper, WR: Fanduel $6,700/Draftkings $6,600
Tyler Boyd, WR: Fanduel $6,200/Draftkings $5,400
Dallas Goedert, TE: Fanduel $5,800/Draftkings $5,100
I would not fault you for adding any of the above-mentioned players to your lineup this week. They all hold incredible value. If I were to try to switch it up at all, Amari Cooper is the player I would get in my lineup.
