This is your DFS Minute for week six in the NFL. Here are my lineups for Draftkings and Fanduel for the Sunday slate of games.
May you find this week’s lineups to be helpful in putting some cash in your pockets. Last week for our DFS Minute Week Five we hit big on D’Andre Swift, Ezekiel Elliott, and Justin Jefferson. We had a few misses with Laviska Shenault Jr, D.J. Moore, and Jakobi Meyers.
Quarterback
Taylor Heinicke, QB, Fanduel/Draftkings $7,300/$5,800
Taylor Heinicke’s name won’t be the first one that jumps off the page when you are picking a quarterback. Heinicke has had a few solid games and one dud. The Chiefs defense struggled mightily this season and if there is a week to attempt to take advantage of a value at quarterback, it is this one.
Running Backs
D’Andre Swift, RB, Fanduel/Draftkings $7,100/$6,300
Darrell Henderson, RB, Fanduel/Draftkings $7,300/$6,000
Austin Ekeler, Flex, Fanduel- $8,400
D’Andre Swift only ran for 51 yards and a touchdown last week but also caught six passes for 53 yards. The Lions may not be giving him workhorse carries, but as long as Swift is involved in the passing game he is a solid play each week.
Darrell Henderson has a solid matchup against the Giants this week. He has been as consistent as they come for the Rams when given the opportunity. Austin Ekeler has seven touchdowns on the season. The Los Angeles Chargers have targeted Ekeler no less than five times each game this season. Ekeler is a great fit in your flex spot on Fanduel this week.
Wide Receivers
Terry McLaurin, WR, Fanduel/Draftkings $7,400/$7,100
Courtland Sutton, WR, Fanduel/Draftkings $6,600/$6,200
Michael Pittman Jr, WR, Fanduel/Draftkings $5,800/$5,500
I always try to stack one wide receiver with my quarterback. This week that receiver is Terry McLaurin. The Washington Football Team receiver has received ten or more targets in three of the five games this season. McLaurin should thrive against the Chiefs’ defense this week.
It is hard to know if a Denver receiver will be productive on any given week. I think this is the week we see two consistent weeks from Courtland Sutton. Teddy Bridgewater has seemingly found a connection with Sutton on the field. I expect another ten-plus target day for him.
Michael Pittman Jr.has caught six passes in each of his last three games. Pittman caught his first touchdown of the season on Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens. I am taking the risk on another solid game from Pittman this week.
Tight End/D/ST
Hunter Henry, TE, Fanduel/Draftkings $5,600/$3,900
Mark Andrews, Flex, Drafkings $5,200
D/ST- Broncos Fanduel/Draftkings $4,400
Hunter Henry has scored a touchdown in each of the last two games. The New England Patriots are up against the Dallas Cowboys and will likely be trailing early in this one. Henry should see a fair share of targets again this week.
Mark Andrews had a monster game on Monday night. He may not repeat his 11 catch performance this week, but Lamar Jackson and Andrews are building a rapport that makes it hard to turn away from Andrews.
Values and Honorable Mentions
Matthew Stafford, QB, Fanduel/Draftkings $7,900/$6,700
Javonte Williams. RB, Fanduel/Draftkings $5,600/$5,000
Robert Woods, WR, Fanduel/Draftkings $6,900/$6,100
I would not fault you for adding any of the above-mentioned players to your lineup this week. They all hold incredible value. If I were to try to switch it up at all, Javonte Williams is the one I would attempt to get in a lineup. This could easily be the week for the Williams breakout.
