IDP Nuggets Week 9

Here are the juicy nuggets for week 9 to quench your IDP hunger! Don't go hungry with this all you can eat buffet!

OLB, Malik Reed, Denver Broncos

With Von Miller out, there were big shoes to fill, but my first IDP nugget, Malik Reed has exceeded expectations! He has started the last three games and over that span, he has produced 13 tackles, nine solos, and five sacks. If you’re looking for sack production, then this is a great waiver wire add, that can produce a high return at a low cost.

S, Antoine Bethea, Free Agent

The Baltimore Ravens are working out my next IDP nugget veteran safety Antoine Bethea this week. Bethea is a 3X Pro-Bowler with eight 100+ tackles seasons to his credit. He can play both the free and strong safety positions, as well as playing down in the box. If you’re looking for that ultimate bargain bin find, then look no further if the Ravens sign him.

DT, Christian Wilkins, Miami Dolphins

My next IDP nugget plays for Miami who is on a three-game win streak and their defense has been playing great, allowing just over eleven points per game, including one shut out. It all starts upfront and Christian Wilkins has been leading the way.  Over the last two games, he’s produced ten tackles, six solos, one sack, and one interception. It’s hard to find production at the defensive tackle position, but Wilkins has been on point as of late.

DE, Kerry Hyder, San Francisco 49ers

With all the losses the 49ers have had upfront due to injuries and trades, Kerry Hyder has been an absolute gem for them and the IDP nugget to quench their hunger. He has 4.5 sacks through nine games and is on pace to beat his career-best of eight he established with the Detroit Lions in 2016. A waiver wire gem that cost pennies and returns dollar bills.

DE, Emmanuel Ogbah, Miami Dolphins

Maybe you have injuries to your stud defensive tackles and you are chasing those sack totals. Well, my nest IDP nugget Emmanuel Ogbah, is a must-add for all your IDP rosters. He’s had at least a half-sack in every game but one this season and has produced five total in the last four games. Still available in a number of leagues, so go add him now!

DE, Marcus Davenport, New Orleans Saints

Most fantasy managers gave up on IDP nugget Marcus Davenport long ago! With the injury issues and lack of availability, he’s been the forgotten darling. Now he seems to be back and healthy, and it shows in his production. In the last two games, he’s registered six tackles and 1.5 sacks. Looking for that bargain bin find? Well, this is your guy that could possibly turn pennies into dollars!

ILB, Neville Hewitt, New York Jets

With Avery Williamson now in Pittsburgh, it will be all on Neville Hewitt to lead the way. He’s had two ten-plus tackle performances over the last four games and I expect that production to continue. The Jets have sold off every valuable piece they’ve had, so this could lead to high production for Hewitt. The Jets are bad and Hewitt will get a ton of work. That’s tackle galore for fantasy managers.

CB, Marcus Peters, Baltimore Ravens

I know most owners stream the CB position, but IDP nugget Marcus Peters is one CB that should be rostered in all leagues. In his seven seasons in the league, he has a total of 36 turnovers (29 INTs & 7 FFs). 82 PBUs and eight defensive TDs. As an added bonus Peters has led the NFL in interception return yardage three times. With all the uncertainty at the CB position, Peters is the one constant.
