Late-round IDP draft picks with top-tier scoring ability will give you an advantage. Here are 32 IDP sleepers — one for each NFL team.

For this list, I define “IDP sleepers” as players who are being drafted outside the Top 20 at their respective positions. In addition, I project these players to outperform their current draft position. I will use the following IDP position designations: linebacker, defensive line, and defensive back.

    Team-by-Team List

    Team Player Name Position
    Arizona Cardinals Jalen Thompson DB
    Atlanta Falcons Mykal Walker LB
Baltimore Ravens Odafe Jayson Oweh DL/LB
    Buffalo Bills Gregory Rousseau DL
    Carolina Panthers Xavier Woods DB
    Chicago Bears Nicholas Morrow LB
Cincinnati Bengals Chidobe Awuzie DB (CB)
    Cleveland Browns Jadeveon Clowney DL
    Dallas Cowboys Jayron Kearse DB
    Denver Broncos Jonas Griffith LB
    Detroit Lions Malcolm Rodriguez LB
Green Bay Packers Rashan Gary DL/LB
    Houston Texans Kamu Grugier-Hill LB
    Indianapolis Colts Nick Cross DB
    Jacksonville Jaguars Andre Cisco DB
Kansas City Chiefs L’Jarius Sneed DB (CB)
Los Angeles Chargers Drue Tranquill LB
Los Angeles Rams Leonard Floyd DL/LB
Los Vegas Raiders Divine Deablo LB
    Miami Dolphins Brandon Jones DB
    Minnesota Vikings Za’Darius Smith DL/LB
New England Patriots Matt Judon DL/LB
New Orleans Saints Pete Werner LB
New York Giants Tae Crowder LB
New York Jets Carl Lawson DL
    Philadelphia Eagles Chauncey Gardner-Johnson DB
    Pittsburgh Steelers Myles Jack LB
San Francisco 49ers Dre Greenlaw LB
    Seattle Seahawks Cody Barton LB
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Joe Tryon-Shoyinka DL
    Tennessee Titans David Long LB
    Washington Commanders Kamren Curl DB

Note: DL/LB represents players with dual eligibility on Sleeper. I would only draft these players if they had DL availability.

    IDP Sleepers Discussion

When Jalen Thompson recently signed a new contract, I mentioned on Twitter that he is one of my IDP Sleepers. This may sound confusing since Thompson finished as a Top 10 defensive back in 2021. However, he is DB23 in IDP Guys’ exclusive Redraft IDP ADP and on Sleeper.

So, even though most analysts have Thompson ranked much higher, fantasy owners are still sleeping on him and have not figured out his true fantasy value. Xavier Woods is another safety that should not be on this list of IDP Sleepers, based on finishing DB6 in 2021.

Someone could also argue that Gregory Rousseau should not be an IDP sleeper, but his average draft position on sleeper is DL23. The main point of this list is to help you identify players that can be found in later rounds and are being undervalued at the current draft position. Rousseau fits this criterion perfectly.
