After missing the playoffs by one game in 2020, the Miami Dolphins come into 2021 looking for a much different result. It starts with Tua Tagovailoa, the second-year quarterback that has high expectations come Week 1.

    2021 NFL Draft

When it comes to fantasy football, there are always many questions that are hard to answer. But especially before the NFL Draft. And for the Miami Dolphins in 2021, they are relying on the NFL Draft in order to have success this season. Miami mock drafts are all over the place, but the idea surrounding fans and analysts alike is that the Fins will take an offensive player with the No. 6 overall pick. Will it be Kyle Pitts, Ja'Marr Chase, DeVonta Smith, or someone else?

    Kyle Pitts

Without a doubt, Kyle Pitts holds the most fantasy value out of all non-quarterbacks in the 2021 NFL Draft. And the Dolphins are definitely aiming to draft Pitts, although the Fins already have a top tight end in Mike Gesicki.

Pitts is a 6-6, 245-pound tight end, but really a hybrid with wide receiver speed, great route-running and the longest wingspan ever recorded in a receiver. He would be a matchup nightmare for every defensive coordinator facing the Dolphins, which gives him tons of fantasy value, similar to Travis Kelce and George Kittle.

    DeVonta Smith

What’s not to like about the Heisman Trophy winner who set all-time receiving records at Alabama? Maybe his size? Does it matter? Well, it matters when we talk about fantasy football. Smith, a former weapon and teammate of Tua, holds a good amount of fantasy value, especially with his speed. But in the end, he needs to produce, especially alongside Will Fuller and DeVante Parker.

    Ja'Marr Chase

Ja'Marr Chase, who opted out in 2020, is the best wide receiver in the 2021 draft class. What does this mean? Well, he should hold the most fantasy value out of any other wide receiver in the draft class. But again, the destination matters! And in Miami, he will be playing alongside Will Fuller and DeVante Parker.

    18th Pick- Najee Harris

While running backs usually don't go this high, Najee Harris is a must-draft for the Miami Dolphins at pick No. 18. Harris, 23-years-old, is a bruising back with shockingly light feet and strong receiving ability. While he is not a home-run hitter, he still holds tons of fantasy value in Miami, even while playing alongside Myles Gaskin.

Miami's Fantasy Value (Excluding 2021 NFL Draft)

Obviously, whoever Miami drafts will affect other players on the roster. But let's forget about the 2021 NFL Draft, and analyze where Miami stands as of right now.

    DeVante Parker

After coming off a career-year in 2019, DeVante Parker had a disappointing fantasy year in 2020. And as most can agree, it was mostly because Parker had a hard time adjusting to Tua, after having so much success with Ryan Fitzpatrick.

But in 2021, with a more developed quarterback named Tua Tagovailoa, Parker should have success, especially with Will Fuller drawing the opposing defense on the other side of the field.

Parker, as most know, is a deep threat receiver who tends to have big fantasy performances every so often. But beware of his injury concerns, and the decrease in value now that Will Fuller is in Miami.

    Will Fuller

The signing of Will Fuller to a one-year deal worth $10.6 million guaranteed was the biggest offseason move that the Dolphins made.

Fuller, 26-years-old, has gone high in tons of fantasy drafts over the past few years. He is coming off a career-year in which he put up 53 receptions for 879 yards and eight touchdowns (11 games).

Fantasy-wise, Fuller had a six-game streak where he recorded at least one touchdown or more. The 6-foot wide receiver also had seven double-digit performances.

    Mike Gesicki

Gesicki had a career-year in 2021, posting 53 receptions for 703 yards and six touchdowns (all career-highs).

Even though the stats were amazing, he was frustrating for fantasy managers in 2021, as he ended the year with three games of 15 yards or fewer. Gesicki was a boom-or-bust player in 2021 if ever there was one, but when he boomed, he boomed in a big way. He’s certainly worth a look in best ball leagues.
