Who are the stocks you should invest in this week for your Devy IDP Portfolios? I’m here to help maximize your return!

The 2021 college football season is here! Week 4 is now in the books and the season is rolling right along. Now you’re looking for any possible stocks that are trending upward to invest in. Or maybe you need to know which players you can move for a high return. I’m here to help you diversify your fantasy portfolios and get the maximum return on your investments.

Each week I’ll give you three-player stocks that are trending up or three that are trending down. Let's Take a closer look at what stocks you should invest in.

    Evan Williams, DB, Fresno State

My first IDP devy stock market buy is safety Evan Williams of the Fresno State Bulldogs. The junior safety is having one heck of a season so far. Through five games played this season, he has recorded 38 tackles, 21 solos, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 PBU. Williams is averaging just over 7.5 tackles per game (7.6).

He also has two games with 12 tackles, versus Oregon and UCLA. The 38 tackles have already surpassed his career-best of 31 that he tallied last year in twelve games. Williams’s terrific start to the season isn’t going unnoticed by fantasy managers. He’s currently rostered in 40% of Fantrax leagues, which is a 25.5% increase from the previous week. Williams is the second most added player of the week so far.

Get your claims in for him now, if he’s not already rostered. He will be unavailable in weeks six and twelve, as Fresno State is on bye, but should be started in every other contest. The high tackle numbers should continue making Williams a must-add stock for your IDP devy portfolios.

    Nick Henrich, LB, Nebraska

Next on my IDP Devy stock market investment list is redshirt freshman linebacker, Nick Henrich of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. There hasn’t been a lot to cheer for lately in the Land of Lincoln, but Henrich is putting on a show. This is his first Initial Public Offering (IPO) and he’s paying returns at a high rate so far. Through the first five games of the season, he has tallied 39 tackles, 14 solos, 1.5 TFLs, and ½ sack.

Williams has been all over the field making tackles from sideline to sideline. Henrich is averaging just a tick under eight tackles per game. He’s been consistent with at least seven tackles in four of the five games. Unlike Williams above, Henrich is rostered in just 12% of Fantrax leagues with just a slight investment increase of 4.3% from the previous week. This is a great opportunity to invest in a stock that you can have three years of control of in your IDP devy or C2C leagues.

Henrich has the size (6’3”/235 lbs), speed, and athleticism to be an impact player at the next level. It’s his development and overall game that he will have to improve between now and then. For now, he’s an excellent buy-low option that is yielding high returns for fantasy teams. Grab him up and enjoy the return he’ll provide your IDP devy teams.

    Cody Roscoe, DL, Syracuse

Last on my IDP Devy stock market list of buys, is super senior Cody Roscoe of the Syracuse Orange. Roscoe is a Div-II transfer from McNeese State, where he accumulated 16 sacks in 30 games. He also holds the McNeese State single-game record for PBUs with six. He transferred to Syracuse in 2020 but didn’t quite have the same success. With the one-time free eligibility year due to COVID-19, he decided to take advantage and improve his game.

That appears to be the right decision as he looks better than ever. Through the first four games of the season, Roscoe is leading the nation with 5.5 sacks. In those four games, he has recorded 21 tackles, 15 solos, 8 TFLs, 5.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. Roscoe is one of the hottest stocks on the IDP devy market right now. He went from being rostered in 0% of Fantrax leagues to a whopping 25% in just a few days. You will want to get your claim in for him now if it’s not already too late.

Roscoe is a low-risk high-reward that is a great addition for your IDP devy portfolios. There is some concern that his production will fall off now that Syracuse is entering conference play, but there will be plenty of opportunities for him to continue making an impact. So if his return does drop you’re not losing anything if you have to cut him. I don’t expect that will be the case, so remember you’re getting the nation’s leader in sacks for basically free.
