Week 7 of college football is over, and we are looking forward. Let’s take a look at some offensive NCAA waiver adds for Week 8.

Weekly, I provide NCAA Waiver Adds for offensive players who are rostered under 50%, according to Fantrax. The goal of these articles is to give insight into both College Fantasy Redraft and Campus to Canton (C2C) leagues. Let’s take a look at some players to check for your league’s waiver wire!

Disclaimer: All league sizes and formats are different, so some of these players may or may not be available in your league.

Grant Wells, Marshall – 26% rostered

Week 7 Stat Line: 323 passing yds, 2 TDs, 1 interception; 4 rushing yds, 3 rushing TDs

Wells can be inconsistent as he has three games of over 20 fantasy points and four games under 20 fantasy points, but he could be a good stash. For CFF he could be a solid bye fill-in if he can start stringing games together. For C2C since he is a young player, he is a good player to get off waiver that could be a great producer for a couple of years even if he does not make it to the NFL.

    Running Backs

Dameon Pierce, Florida – 17% rostered

Week 7 Stat Line: 24 rushing yds, 1 TD, 55 receiving yds, 1 TD

Dameon Pierce shares the backfield with Malik Davis, so he does not get the bulk of the carries for the Gators. Even with that, he has double-digit fantasy points in five of seven games because of his work in the receiving game. Pierce, in the last two games, has had a nose for the endzone with five TDs so he is a solid bench piece moving forward.

    Tyrion Davis-Price, LSU – 11% rostered

Week 7 Stat Line: 287 rushing yds, 3 TDs

Davis-Price had a slow start to the season with only going over 50 yards once in the first five games. In the last two games, he has exploded for 147 and 287 yards but the even better part of those games is his carries with 58. LSU has struggled this year but his recent performances look like Davis-Price has taken over the backfield and could help lead your team to a championship.

    Wide Receivers

Tyquan Thornton, Baylor – 26% rostered

Week 7 Stat Line:  84 receiving yds

Thornton had another solid game for Baylor this week and now has three out of four weeks with double-digit fantasy points. He is the leading receiver on the one-loss Bears and has five or more receptions in four games this season. He is a Senior so does not show much value for C2C formats.

Payne Durham, Purdue – 42% rostered

Week 7 Stat Line:  15 receiving yds

TEs are hard to come by and Durham didn't have that big of a day but it was good to see him suit up as he has been out since September 25th with a concussion. Before the injury, Durham had fantasy weeks of 34, 17, and 11. He is more of a stash but could come in handy during the playoff stretch. He is also a Junior so he could be in play next year in C2C formats.
