The playoffs are almost here! Check out the Offensive Injury Report to find out which players will be available to carry your team forward.

In all of my leagues, Week 14 is the last week of the fantasy regular season. Whether you’re gunning for a first-round bye, fighting to get into the playoffs, or just trying to avoid a last-place punishment, the Week 14 Injury Report is here to help.

Be sure to check back for updates as more information comes in.

For a quick reference tool, check out the new injury tracker that I will be updating up until kickoff.

NFL Week 14 Injury Report for Offensive Players

Chase Edmonds, RB – Injured Reserve/Questionable

Edmonds suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 9 and was placed on injured reserve prior to Week 10. He is eligible to return and is expected to be able to play in Week 14. Keep a close eye on his status as it affects not only Edmonds but teammate James Conner‘s outlook if he is active.

    DeAndre Hopkins, WR – Questionable

Hopkins returned to the field for the first time since Week 8 but was limited to just two targets. He is likely to play in Week 14 but it’s hard to expect much from him until we see a game with his usual involvement.

Calvin Ridley, WR – Reserve/NFI List

Ridley was placed on the Reserve/NFI (Non-Football Injury) list prior to Week 9 while dealing with mental health issues. The move necessitates a minimum of three weeks’ absence similar to short-term IR, but he could be done for the year. If your league allows NFI players to be placed on IR, I would strongly encourage you to do that for now until new information comes out.

No new injuries were reported in Week 13.

No new offensive injuries were reported in Week 13.

Sam Darnold, QB – Injured Reserve

Darnold was diagnosed with a fractured scapula and was placed on injured reserve. His recovery timeline was said to be 4-6 weeks but I expect that we’ve seen the last of Darnold in 2021. Cam Newton is expected to get the start in Week 14 but is risky at best.

    Justin Fields, QB – Questionable

Fields suffered what was originally diagnosed as bruised ribs that were later referred to as “cracked” in Week 11, causing him to miss Weeks 12 and 13. He remains questionable for Week 14.

    Allen Robinson, WR – Doubtful

Robinson missed the last three weeks with a hamstring injury and his status remains unknown for Week 14.

    Joe Burrow, QB – Probable

Burrow dislocated the pinky finger in his throwing hand but is expected to play through it in Week 14. He was able to finish Week 13’s game after sustaining the injury but it does add some concern to managers relying on the second-year quarterback.

    David Njoku, TE – COVID-19

Njoku was added to the reserve/COVID-19 list and is likely to miss Week 14. The crowded nature of the Browns’ tight end room usually makes it difficult to predict which of the three tight ends (if any) will be startable for fantasy. However, with Njoku likely to miss and Harrison Bryant also questionable after suffering an ankle injury in Week 12, veteran Austin Hooper may be a sneaky dart throw.

No new offensive injuries were reported in Week 13.

    Melvin Gordon, RB – Questionable

Gordon missed Week 13 with a hip injury, allowing rookie Javonte Williams to shine. I think Williams is flex-worthy regardless but should continue to have a large workload if Gordon misses more time.

    D’Andre Swift, RB – Doubtful

Swift suffered a shoulder sprain and missed Week 13 and is still doubtful to play in Week 14.

    Aaron Rodgers, QB

Rodgers has been playing through a toe injury but is not expected to undergo surgery at this time.

    Aaron Jones, RB

Jones was active in Week 12 but did not have as heavy a workload as he might normally. I would expect more of the same for now although the Week 13 bye may have given him more time to recover.

    Tyrod Taylor, QB – Doubtful

Taylor suffered a wrist injury that is believed to include some torn ligaments. Davis Mills is expected to return as the starter for Week 14 but official word has not been given yet.

    Week 14 bye

    James Robinson, RB

Robinson has been nursing heel and knee injuries and was not very involved in Week 13. This seems more related to coaching ineptitude and less to do with injuries, but either way, it makes Robinson risky for fantasy managers.

No new offensive injuries were reported in Week 13.

    Darren Waller, TE – Doubtful

Waller missed Week 13 with a previously reported injury and is now being called day-to-day. I’m skeptical of his return in Week 14 but keep an eye out for updates throughout the week. If Waller misses Week 14, it seems that Hunter Renfrow is likely to be the primary beneficiary.

Kenyan Drake, RB – Injured Reserve (season-ending)

Drake suffered a broken right ankle and will miss the remainder of the 2021 NFL season.

Keenan Allen, WR – Questionable (COVID-19)

Allen was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday. He could return by Week 14, but as we have seen it is more likely that he misses a week even if he is vaccinated.

    Darrell Henderson, RB – Questionable

Henderson was active in Week 13 but was essentially rested due to his quad injury. Look for late week updates on whether the team expects Henderson to return to his normal role in the offense.

    Week 14 bye
    Jaylen Waddle, WR

Waddle left Week 13 late but was reportedly just dealing with cramps. He should be good to go for Week 15 after the team’s bye.

    Will Fuller, WR – IR

Fuller is on injured reserve with a previously reported fractured finger. He is eligible to return at any time but a timeline has not been provided at this time.

    DeVante Parker, WR – IR

Parker returned from a hamstring injury to play in Week 8 but then reaggravated the injury in practice causing him to miss Week 9. The Dolphins have since placed him on injured reserve, sidelining him until at least Week 15 after the team’s bye week.

    <a rel=

    Adam Thielen, WR – Doubtful

Thielen suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 13 and is unlikely to play in Week 14. I expect him to ultimately miss 2-4 weeks and have reduced efficiency in his first game back.

    Dalvin Cook, RB – Doubtful

Cook left Week 12 early with a shoulder injury later revealed to be dislocation and torn labrum. He will likely miss multiple weeks including Week 14. He did, however, return to practice in a limited fashion on Tuesday so there is hope that he may only miss one more week and be healthy for the fantasy playoffs.

    Week 14 bye.
    Damien Harris, RB – Questionable

Harris left Week 13 with a hamstring injury and will likely be questionable in Week 15 following the bye.

    Alvin Kamara, RB – Questionable

Kamara was inactive in Weeks 10 through 13 and remains questionable for Week 14.

    Taysom Hill, QB – Questionable

Hill suffered a finger injury that is similar (but less severe) than Russel Wilson’s from earlier this year.

    Deonte Harris, WR – Suspended

Harris is now going to serve a three-game suspension for a DUI and will not be eligible to return until Week 17.

    Daniel Jones, QB – Doubtful

Jones finished Week 12 but suffered a strained neck that kept him out of Week 13 and is likely to keep him out of Week 14, leading to a start from Jake Fromm.

    Sterling Shepard, WR – Questionable

Shepard has not been active since Week 8 and remains officially questionable for Week 14. I’m skeptical of his return but keep an eye on his practice status to know for sure.

    Kenny Golladay, WR – Questionable

Golladay suffered a rib injury in Week 13 and is questionable for Week 14.

    Kadarius Toney, WR – Questionable

Toney missed Weeks 12 and 13 with a quad injury and is questionable for Week 14.

    Michael Carter, RB – IR

Carter was initially expected to miss 2-3 weeks with a high ankle sprain but has since been placed on injured reserve. I lean toward the pessimistic side of things when it comes to high-ankle sprains so I wouldn’t be surprised if he eventually misses four weeks and is limited upon his return (see Saquon Barkley this year).

Corey Davis, WR – Injured Reserve (season-ending)

Davis is set to undergo core-muscle surgery and miss the remainder of the 2021 season.

    Week 14 bye
    Jordan Howard, RB – Out

Howard left Week 11 with a knee sprain and missed the past two weeks. The team is hoping that he can return following the bye week.

    Jalen Hurts, QB

Hurts was quickly named the Week 15 starter after missing Week 13 with an ankle injury allowing “Minshew Magic” to make a resurgence.

    Miles Sanders, RB – Questionable

Sanders left Week 13 with an ankle injury and will likely be questionable for Week 15 following the bye.

No new offensive injuries were reported.

No new offensive injuries were reported in Week 13.

Deebo Samuel, WR – Questionable (1-2 weeks)

Samuel suffered a groin injury and is expected to miss 1-2 weeks, making him questionable for Week 14. The team is hoping for his return but I am skeptical until I see a full practice out of Samuel.

    Elijah Mitchell, RB – Questionable

Mitchell reported concussion symptoms on Monday and is in the league’s concussion protocol now. His Week 14 status is questionable. Fellow running back Jeff Wilson apparently had a setback with his knee as well, making Jamycal Hasty the possible last man standing.

Antonio Brown, WR – Out (three-game suspension)

Brown was suspended for three games for falsifying his COVID-19 vaccination card. His earliest eligible return is Week 16.

    Julio Jones, WR – IR

Jones was placed on injured reserve and was designated to return from a hamstring injury earlier in the season. This means he can practice but the team has 21 days to determine if they will indeed activate him to the active roster.

    A.J. Brown, WR – IR

Brown was placed on injured reserve with a chest injury ahead of Week 12 meaning he will not be eligible to return until Week 16 due to the Titans’ Week 13 bye.

    Logan Thomas, TE – Doubtful

Thomas suffered a knee injury that was feared to be a torn ACL. He is still undergoing testing, but it looks like a multi-week (if not season-ending) absence is in store.

    J.D. McKissic, RB – Doubtful

McKissic missed Week 13 with a concussion and is doubtful for Week 14.

    Aaron Maberry

I am a veterinarian who has been playing fantasy football off and on since high school. About 12 years ago, I got more competitive and serious about fantasy football when I started a league with some other friends who were in vet school with me at the time. I started playing IDP about 3 years ago and have become even more obsessed with fantasy football. I have what I would call an evidence-based approach to fantasy football and love to track data in spreadsheets. I began writing for IDP Guys in the summer of 2021 and look forward to contributing to the amazing team moving forward. Thanks for reading!
