  • Offensive Sleepers: Week 15 Edition

It can be hard to find sleepers each week. Let’s take a look at some players who could produce in the offensive sleepers Week 15 edition!

If there is a last-minute injury, you may need to scramble to find a player to substitute. That is when this weekly article on offensive sleepers comes in handy. I use Sleeper's rostered percentage before the Thursday night game to look for offensive sleepers and use anyone under 35% rostered. We have reached the playoffs and with all the COVID positives, playoff lineups may need some deep sleepers, so check out the Week 15 edition of Offensive Sleepers.

Week 14 I bounced back a little bit from Week 13 with one out of three sleepers beating their projection. That one win was big with Jalen Guyton beating projection by 42. For the season sleepers have beat projections 25 out of 52 times (48%) and 9 of those 25 sleepers outscored their projection by 20 spots.

D'Ernest Johnson, RB, Cleveland Browns - 34.0% Rostered

The Browns have been hit big by injuries this season and this week Covid Positive tests have left them with even more players with the possibility of missing the Saturday game. Kareem Hunt is out and the team may be down to third-string QB Nick Mullens. Even though Nick Chubb will be the main back, Johnson could still get enough touches to be a worthy flex play this week.

David Njoku, TE, Cleveland Browns - 8.3% Rostered

As mentioned above the Browns are in for a rough week with all the Covid Positive tests and with Jarvis Landry and Austin Hooper possibly missing the game, David Njoku could be in for a huge day of targets. The Browns are in multiple TE formations 44% of the time, so Njoku should be on the field most of the offensive possessions. He could definitely be in line for enough work to be a top 10 TE this week.

Davis Mills, QB, Houston Texans - 4.5% Rostered

The Houston Texans have decided to go with Davis Mills the rest of the season and he had a good game last week with over 300 yards vs the Seahawks. This week he gets the dysfunctional Jaguars who are giving up over 19 fantasy points per game to QBs. For the season that would fall within top 12 QB territory. If you need a second QB in SF league, Mills could provide the value to move on in the playoffs.

Zay Jones, WR, Las Vegas Raiders - 1.9% Rostered

The Raiders have struggled lately on offense and part of that is due to losing a couple of their receiving weapons. Darren Waller has been hurt the last three games and has caused a bigger uptick in targets for Hunter Renfrow but he is not the only one getting more looks. Zay Jones has had 19 targets in the last 3 games and turned that into 13 receptions. Against the shorthanded Browns, he could have a big day.

    Conclusion

Those are my top offensive sleeper candidates going into the Week 15 of the NFL season. With Covid protocols, you never know when someone is not going to be inactive on game day. These offensive sleepers could help you fill in your starting lineups for Week 15 for your last push for the playoffs.
