Top IDP Waiver Wire Adds Week 16

Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders

IDP Takeaways Los Angeles Chargers

The offense didn't do its defense any favors, by giving up five turnovers. The Raiders scored 35 points off those takeaways and provided a historical 63-21 beatdown.

Even Eric Kendricks's outstanding 11-tackle performance could not save them in this lopsided affair. It was nice seeing him log an 88% snap count, which is his fourth straight eighty or higher.

The Chargers do not possess many great waiver options, especially after this game but there are a few playable options if you have a league that is deep enough.

Michael Davis has gotten 100% snaps two consecutive weeks, and three in the last five. He had 6 with five solos so if you are deep enough possible options of pass deflections and tackles, could be a waiver option if your league is hurting at DB.

Austin Johnson had 8 tackles, with 5 being solos. He's a 50% snaps guy who gets 4-8 tackles regardless of the matchup that is sort of his baseline.

IDP Takeaways Las Vegas Raiders

Funny how things work out. After failing to score points in last week's 3-0 loss to the Vikings, The Raiders poured on 63 points in this one. Antonio Pierce has this team coached up and he's excited to see something to play for.

Divine Deablo profiles, when healthy, as LB2 but has struggled with this in that regard. Deablo always gives his best and this one he made an impact with 12 tackles leading the team on the week, not to mention six stops. Check to see if he is not injured, your pivot here would be Rookie Amani Burney, who could fill in nicely if called upon.

The defense was red-hot in this one. Per @espnstat.com, the Raiders recovered four fumble recoveries, and an interception, and scored two defensive touchdowns. The IDP players were rotated evenly around but we still were able to see a few standout performances.

Jack Jones had the most exciting play Thursday night, with his pick-six returned for a touchdown he jumped in front of a pass and snagged it with one hand. But that is not all he did. Per @PFF Jones allowed just two yards off three targets. Rostered in only 7% of leagues.

Malcolm Koonce is a third-year player but is second on the Raiders in rushing the passer. He's an unknown but worth monitoring in deep leagues. In his last five games, he has earned elite grades per @PFF. This week was no different as he achieved four pressures and that gave him an amazing grade of 91.5. If you highlighted just the last five games, I mentioned he is the third-highest-graded player and that's ahead of Maxx Crosby.
