Week Three Start/Sit For IDP Fantasy Football

With Week Three now upon us, Jon dives into each IDP matchup. He declares players he believes should be in your lineups and which IDP players should be riding the pine.

I’ve been putting out these IDP matchup articles the last couple weeks. I have not been able to cover more than eight or so matchups each week since I have the bad habit of over-explaining my decision process involved in starting or sitting every single IDP relevant guy in each matchup. I would go over their defensive snap %, stats, traits of the teams they’re up against and so on.

Now while that’s great information it means I’m only getting to cover a few matchups every week since each one is so loaded down with information. I also write a weekly article where I go over the past weeks IDP stats and results with waivers. I cracked 5,200 words in the last one I wrote, which is twice as long as the recommended length for an internet article. (Editor’s Note: Jon wrote more words in that article than the first chapter of the novel I am working on!)

I’ll probably keep doing that article in the same style since it really paints the entire picture every week after we see the results but this segment has got to get streamlined.

For this article going forward, I will go into less on the reasons why I am suggesting what I suggest in an effort to cover all the matchups before they happen each week. That being said, if you do not agree with a take or a start/sit no problem. It is ultimately your team and your decision every week to make. I just want you guys to know there is a metric ton of research, stats, info, time and effort that goes into every article I write. If I suggest something, it is not on a whim. There is a reason behind it. If I don’t mention a player it’s because I have no opinion either way. These are just the guys I’ve gotten a read on and feel strongly about so far this week.
