This is a special edition of the DFS Minute for Thanksgiving day in the NFL. Here are my Draftkings, Fanduel, and Owners Box lineups for the Thursday slate of games.
Anyone who plays Daily Fantasy Sports wants their share of the Thanksgiving feast. It will feel like we are just recovering from the Week 11 Sunday slate, but Thanksgiving games come at us fast.
Here is to winning some cash to add to all the amazing food you will consume on Thanksgiving!
Quarterback
Dak Prescott: Fanduel - $8,200/Draftkings - $6,900
Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys were unimpressive on Sunday afternoon in their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs without Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb who left the game with a concussion. Cooper has already been ruled out and it will be close if Lamb can clear protocol by Thursday. I still like Prescott to bounce back this week and have a quality game.Â
Running Backs
D’Andre Swift: Fanduel - $8,000/Draftkings - $7,300
David Montgomery: Fanduel - $7,500/Draftkings - $6,000
D’Andre Swift topped 130 yards again last week, but this time with only 14 carries compared to the 33 in week 10. In Week 11, he was able to score a touchdown. He is once again a top option this week. Swift has appeared mostly matchup proof and can run well against any defense.Â
David Montgomery had an average Week 11 with 14 carries and 58 yards. The options are limited on Thanksgiving for running backs with guaranteed carries. I like Montgomery this week against the Lions’ defense.
Wide Receivers
Darnell Mooney: Fanduel - $6,800/Draftkings - $5,700
Deonte Harris: Fanduel - $5,200/Draftkings - $3,700
Cedrick Wilson: Fanduel - $5,600/Draftkings - $3,500
Darnell Mooney was targeted 16 times on Sunday, catching five of those passes for 121 yards. Mooney benefited from Allen Robinson missing the game. Mooney scored for the second week in a row. He will likely come with high ownership on Thursday but if there is a guy worth playing right now it is Mooney.Â
Deonte Harris is nothing more than a dart throw at this point but of the New Orleans Saints wide receivers, he may be the most dynamic with the football. He is the best bet for a long ball. With Adam Trautman now out for a few weeks, the Saints will need to rely more on their receivers.Â
With Amari Cooper already ruled out for Thursday’s game a Cowboys’ receiver will be forced to step up. Wilson was targeted seven times against the Kansas City Chiefs. I expect the Cowboys to find a way to get the ball in Wilson’s hands Thursday.Â
Tight End and D/ST
T.J. Hockenson, TE: Fanduel - $6,100/Draftkings - $5,200
Cowboys, D/ST: Fanduel - $4,000/Draftkings - $3,300
I had Adam Trautman in this spot after showing a little consistency as of late, but while putting my rosters together he was announced out. Hockenson returned to being the favored target for the Lions after a goose egg the week before. Hockenson had six catches for 51 yards in Week 11. Â
The Cowboys’ defense looked great against the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. Micah Parsons has turned into a star in his rookie season. I have the Cowboys getting multiple turnovers in this game and bouncing back strong from their loss to the Chiefs.
Flex
Stefon Diggs: Fanduel - $8,300/Draftkings - $7,900
Stefon Diggs followed up his 162-yard performance in Week 10 with a 23-yard performance in Week 11. Diggs did score two touchdowns on Sunday. With limited top options at wide receiver, Diggs is a solid play on Thursday.

Andy Dalton: Fanduel - $7,200/Draftkings - $5,500
Justin Fields: Fanduel - $7,200/Draftkings - $5,400
Runningback
Tony Pollard: Fanduel - $5,900/Draftkings - $5,600
Wide Receiver
Emmanuel Sanders: Fanduel - $5,800/Draftkings $4,800
Tight End
Dawson Knox: Fanduel - $5,900/Draftkings - $4,400
I would not fault you for adding any of the above-mentioned players to your lineup this week. They all hold incredible value. If I were to try to switch it up at all, Dawson Knox is the player I would get in my lineup. I listed both Bears Quarterbacks due to the Justin Fields injury.Â
