• Tennessee Titans 2022 Fantasy Football + IDP Depth Chart Dive

    Tennessee Titans

After a surprising bounce from the playoffs after entering with the first seed bye, the Titans may be in turmoil. They traded away star WR A.J. Brown and are hoping Derrick Henry stays healthy in 2022. Another team with some top-heavy fantasy options and not a lot of depth on both sides of the ball.

    Offense

    Quarterback

    Ryan Tannehill

It feels like the clock is rapidly ticking for Tannehill. I'm not even sure it will be Malik Willis who supplants him. But if he continues to fail during the big games, he's gone. I could see a Ryan Fitzpatrick-type career arch for Tannehill. He should be a fine enough QB2 for this year, but I'm selling for whatever I can get in dynasty. @dynastysanta 8/7

    Malik Willis
    Logan Woodside

    Running Back

    Derrick Henry

In his relevant career, Henry had only missed a SINGLE game leading up to his 2021 foot injury. This is not an injury I worry he can make it back from. He has had ample amount of time to heal and recover to full strength and we can feel confident with him as one of those 'set it and forget it' guys as he has always been and pick up right where he left off. @Harding_3 9/8

    Dontrell Hilliard
    Hassan Haskins
    Trenton Cannon
    Jordan Wilkins
    Julius Chestnut

    Wide Receiver

    Robert Woods

I am currently tempering my expectations with Woods coming back from the ACL injury. Yes, he is going to be the undoubted WR1 for this team, but he is now also in an offense that functions through their rushing game. Woods should have flex appeal this year as he should have inconsistent performances throughout the year. @Harding_3 9/8

    Treylon Burks

My #2 overall dynasty rookie, I could see Treylon Burks getting off to a slower start this year. I'm begging you not to cut bait in redraft if that happens. We'll see him BOOM in the second half of the season. @dynastysanta 8/7

Robert Woods as the teams top option should help Burks come into his own in this league. I think he could become the teams top option and have a better latter half of the season. If you drafted him, well-done, be patient and hold onto him while he adjusts to this level of play the first eight weeks. @Harding_3 9/8

    Nick Westbrook-Ikhine
    Kyle Philips
    Josh Malone
    Cody Hollister
    Racey McMath
    Dez Fitzpatrick
    Terry Godwin

    Tight End

    Austin Hooper

I expect Hooper to be pretty touchdown dependent in 2022. But feel he has a better opportunity for fantasy relevance as a backup tight end for benches this season. Matchup-depending, he could prove to be a nice bye-week fill in down the line. @Harding_3 9/8

    Geoff Swaim
    Chigoziem Okonkwo

    Defense

    Defensive Tackle

    Jeffery Simmons
    Denico Autry
    Da'Shawn Hand
    Naquan Jones

    Defensive End/EDGE

    Harold Landry
    Bud Dupree
    DeMarcus Walker
    Rashad Weaver

    Linebacker

    Zach Cunningham

Everyone in the IDP community seems down on Zach Cunningham. However, I think he's the clear LB1 in Tennessee. The coaches and players think very highly of him so he'll be on the field a ton. Whether that will translate to IDP fantasy points will remain to be seen. I think he'll have a resurgence this year in Tennessee and be an incredible value and ROI for his ADP. @dynastysanta 8/7

    David Long
    Monty Rice
    Dylan Cole

    Cornerback

    Caleb Farley
    Roger McCreary
    Kristian Fulton
    Elijah Molden

    Safety

    Kevin Byard
    Amani Hooker
    A.J. Moore

    Steve Tomasin (@DynastySanta)

After being introduced to fantasy football in 1999 as a wee lad still in middle school, I was hooked. I then began commishing my own keeper league 2 years later as a sophomore in high school, which has been running since. I used a computer program that required me to manually input weekly stats and had to print out summary packets each week to deliver to league owners at the bowling alley. I loved it. Stats and numbers and the competitiveness of being "right" about players was just an incredible high that not many other activities or hobbies have ever provided me. Around 2005 we migrated to the CBS sports site. I found a new love then, writing about our league. Each year after the draft I would "grade" each owner's team. It became almost as anticipated as the draft itself. Also, most weeks I'd recap the league's games and criticize start/sits while boasting my own accolades as long as I won that week. Dynasty, IDP & Superflex are the next evolutions in my fantasy football journey. I'm a Philly suburbs guy, GO BIRDS. Follow me on Twitter @dynastysanta
