The fantasy playoffs are knocking on the door. Stay off Santa's naughty list. Check out some crucial additions for week 13!

Our own Dynasty Santa, Steve Tomasin is feeling under the weather this week so here I am to bring you the offensive waiver wire adds for week 13. Every Santa needs his elves and I am here both so I don’t get fined and because sometimes Santa needs help delivering the Christmas goods.

The Obvious

Chuba Hubbard/Ameer Abdullah, RB, Carolina Panthers

If someone in your league got cute like I did and dropped Hubbard after Christian McCaffrey flashed a few good weeks, now is your time to make a move. McCaffrey has been placed on the injured reserve. If you miss out on Hubbard I think Ameer Abdullah will receive as much work as Hubbard moving forward. Abdullah received six targets as well on Sunday.

Foster Moreau, TE, Las Vegas Raiders

Foster Moreau makes the list due to the status of Darren Waller. Moreau has three touchdowns of his own playing alongside Waller this season. In a bleak tight-end landscape, Moreau is a premium addition. He is guaranteed targets in Waller’s absence.

Alexander Mattison, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Alexander Mattison is the number one waiver wire addition if he is available on your waivers. Dalvin Cook is likely to be sidelined for a few weeks due to injury. In the two games, Mattison has started this season he ran for a total of 225 yards and added 13 receptions.

Other obvious candidates:

Tony Pollard, RB, Dallas Cowboys - He should already be on a roster but if he is not, run, do not walk to get him. Spend your FAAB like you have 99 problems but your FAAB ain’t one.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, WR, Tennessee Titans – AJ Brown has been placed on IR. Westbrook-Ikhine scored a touchdown on Sunday against the Patriots.

Brandon Aiyuk, WR, San Francisco 49ers – if he’s somehow available, grab him. Deebo Samuel will be missing some time.

Logan Thomas, TE, Washington Football Team- Back in action.

Russell Gage, WR, Atlanta Falcons - Eleven receptions the last two weeks and one touchdown.

Dontrell Hilliard, RB, Tennessee Titans – If he is somehow still on your waiver wires he is a must-add. While only receiving 12 carries in week 12, he rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown.

The Bold

Kene Nwangwu, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Kene Nwangwu has two kick returns for touchdowns in the five games he has played this season. With Dalvin Cook out for a period of time, if something were to happen to Mattison, Nwangwu is a must-add. I can also see the Vikings allowing Nwangwu some work regardless if Mattison is the starter. If you have a league that awards yardage for kick returns it will only benefit you to add Nwangwu.

Brevin Jordan, TE, Houston Texans

If you have a deep league and you want to take that flier on a tight end I firmly believe we will see Brevin Jordan’s usage only increase for the remainder of the season. Brevin Jordan saw his snap percentage go from the twenties in his first three games, to sixty percent in week twelve. Jordan has two touchdowns in those four games. I think we will see a Pat Freiermuth-like rise for Jordan as the rest of the season progresses.

Kendrick Bourne, WR, New England Patriots

I am not so sure Kendrick Bourne is as much of a bold claim, as he is a must-add. Bourne has three touchdowns in the three weeks. He has made the most of his targets as well with two weeks of a 100% catch percentage and 83.3% last week. Bourne has 201 yards in those three weeks. Just remember, you cannot add Bourne without making some sort of Bourne Ultimatum reference. It's a pre-requisite.

Other Stash candidates (Deep Rosters Only):

Nelson Agholor, WR, New England Patriots – Hail Mary pickup, full of grace.

A.J. Green, WR, Arizona Cardinals - Hopefully Kyler Murray is back soon.

Curtis Samuel, WR, Washington Football Team - Back in action

Cedrick Wilson, WR, Dallas Cowboys - 104 yards in Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb’s absence on Thanksgiving

Tyler Conklin, TE, Minnesota Vikings

Desean Jackson, WR, Las Vegas Raiders

DeeJay Dallas, RB, Seattle Seahawks – The most talented, healthy, RB left on the roster. Now somebody go tell Pete Carroll.

Jauan Jennings, WR, San Francisco 49ers - Deebo Samuel is likely out a few weeks. Jennings scored a touchdown against the Vikings.

The Traps

Do not get caught on Santa’s naughty list by trying to add these guys. If you do add them I promise not to tell him though. I mean, let’s be real. Steve had Dontrell Hilliard on this list last week.

Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers - Boy, that return to glory was short-lived.

Tony Jones Jr, RB, New Orleans Saints - Put the egg nog down. It’s not happening.

Ronald Jones, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Glutton for punishment I guess.

Dez Fitzpatrick, WR, Tennessee Titans – No. Just no.

Best of luck with your waiver wire Week 13 claims! Let’s hope Dynasty Santa, Steve Tomasin feels better next week and finds some remedies in Mrs. Dynasty Clause’s medicine cabinet.
