DFS Minute: NFL Sunday Lineups Week 4

This is your DFS Minute for week four in the NFL. Here are my lineups for Draftkings and Fanduel for the Sunday slate of games.

Anyone that plays Daily Fantasy Sports wants their share of the pie. May you find this week's lineups to be helpful in putting some cash in your pockets. Last week we hit big on Cooper Kupp, Kirk Cousins, and Mike Williams. The lineup I suggested did win a little money, if not for the miss on Darnell Mooney it may have been a significant amount more. Quarterback

Jalen Hurts, QB, Fanduel/Draftkings $7,900/$6,900

The Philadelphia Eagles and Jalen Hurts may not be a great real-life threat, but Hurts in the fantasy world puts up great numbers. It will be no different this week with a matchup at home against the Chiefs. Last week the Chiefs surrendered four passing touchdowns to Justin Herbert. 

Running Backs

Derrick Henry, RB, Fanduel/Draftkings $10,200/$8,800

Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Fanduel/Draftkings $6,700/$5,400

Derrick Henry may be one of the most expensive players on either site this week, but the offense will run through Henry and he is worth the cost. Henry had 28 carries last week for over 100 yards to go with three catches for 31 yards. 

Clyde Edwards-Helaire turned out to be a solid risk and reward last week. He turned out 100 yards and a receiving touchdown. I expect a similar game this week on the road in Philadelphia. The Eagles defense gave up over five yards a carry last week to both Ezekiel Elliot and Tony Pollard. 

Wide Receivers

Odell Beckham Jr, WR, Fanduel/Draftkings $6,600/$5,800

Tim Patrick, WR, Fanduel/Draftkings $6,100/$4,900

Christian Kirk, WR, Fanduel/Draftkings $6.000/$5,300

Flex- Justin Jefferson, WR, Draftkings $7,300

Flex- D.J. Moore, WR, Fanduel- $7,300

Odell Beckham returned last week against the Chicago Bears and had five receptions for 77 yards. Baker Mayfield targeted Beckham nine times. I expect that volume to increase against a suspect Vikings pass defense. 

It may be a risk to play both Tim Patrick and Christian Kirk in a DFS lineup. Their production last week paired with their prices this week are primed for a high reward this week versus the risk. Christian Kirk had 104 yards on seven catches. Tim Patrick had five catches for 98 yards. 

In the flex spots this week there is room to fit in Justin Jefferson on Draftkings and DJ Moore on Fanduel. Both are coming off big weeks and should continue to do so. The Minnesota Vikings and Carolina Panthers starting running backs are hurt. Look for Jefferson and Moore to see plenty of targets. 

Tight End/D/ST

Pat Freiermuth, TE, Fanduel/Draftkings $5,000$3,100

Lions D/ST, Fanduel/Draftkings $4,100/$2,200

Pat Freiermuth scored a touchdown last week. At a minimum, if he is going to be a red-zone target he is worth considering as a play. The Lion's defense has a nice matchup against Chicago this week. Chicago’s offense looked like a mess last week against Cleveland while the Lions' defense held up against Baltimore.

Values and Honorable Mentions

Sam Darnold, QB, Draftkings/Fanduel $6,000/$7,200

Jonathan Taylor, RB, Draftkings/Fanduel $6,300/$6,600

Chase Claypool, WR, Draftkings/Fanduel $6,100/$6,500

Mike Gesicki, TE, Draftkings/Fanduel $4,000/$5,400

I would not fault you for adding any of the above-mentioned players to your lineup this week. They all hold incredible value. If I were to try to switch it up at all, Gesicki would be the guy I would try to squeeze in a lineup somewhere.
