This might be your final week to sneak into the playoffs. Check out some of the top-level, ceiling plays from @DynastySanta and his Week 12 IDP sleepers!

Reflection on last week. Marcus Davenport was a home run with 1.5 sacks. Jayon Brown ATE with 14 tackles. Monty Rice was solid with 7 tackles. T.J. Edwards SMASHED with 10 tackles, plus a fumble recovery AND a pick. Xavier McKinney provided a solid tack floor with 7. And lastly, Eric Murray had a great day as well finishing as a DB1 in most leagues. Let's hope the Week 12 IDP sleepers hold up as well!

    Defensive Line

James Smith-Williams, DE, Washington Football Team

    ESPN: 0.1% ST - 0.1% RST - YAHOO: 0.0% RST

The last time I tried to use a WFT defensive lineman, it was Jonathan Allen a couple of weeks ago. His production disappointed, but hoping Smith-Williams will not. Honestly, both of them I'd roll with as sleeper candidates this week. It's because of their matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Russell Wilson is prone to get sacked. So I am much more confident in both Smith-Williams and Allen this week. The Seahawks allowed Preston Smith to come alive last week with two sacks!

    Linebacker

    Kamu Grugier-Hill, Houston Texans

    ESPN: 5.5% ST - 7.0% RST - YAHOO: 4.0% RST

As of late, Grugier-Hill has gotten the opportunity to see the abundance of snaps for the Texans at linebacker. And he has not disappointed. I know it might be hard to trust in such a fringe guy. However, the matchup against the New York Jets and the return of quarterback Zach Wilson is enticing. That could be a game filled with sloppy football, with PLENTY of opportunities for Kamu Grugier-Hill to continue his outstanding fantasy play.

    Anthony Barr, Minnesota Vikings

    ESPN: 1.8% ST - 3.4% RST - YAHOO: 1% RST

Hear me out. Barr has been banged up all year long and missed five games so far. It appears he may finally be healthy now. And when he has been healthy, he's been incredibly productive and a safe fantasy option. This week, the Vikings take on the run-happy San Francisco 49ers who should have a healthy-ish Elijah Mitchell back to carry the load. Barr likely isn't the most exciting play this week but should continue to provide a very safe floor.

    Defensive Back

    Desmond King, CB, Houston Texans

    ESPN: 13.5% ST - 15.1% RST - YAHOO: 9.0% RST

Am I chasing last week's points with King? Probably, yes. However, we've got another matchup play here, similar to his teammate Kamu Grugier-Hill from above. I don't think King totally replays his monster fantasy production from last week. However, Houston defenders have been great IDP options lately. And it is the Jets and he's got as good of a chance at an interception as anyone this week! Total ceiling/YOLO play.

    George Odum, S, Indianapolis Colts

    ESPN: 0.2% ST - 0.3% RST - YAHOO: 0.0% RST

George Odum has been the next man up since the unfortunate injury to Khari Willis earlier this year. He has been a bit up and down concerning fantasy production. However, Odum has been providing a decent tackle floor. In Week 12, the Colts face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what has the makings of a shootout. Last week, three New York Giants defensive backs all scored very well against the Buccs. I'd fire up Odum with confidence this week.

Best of luck in your IDP leagues and thanks for checking out my Week 12 IDP sleepers!

    Steve Tomasin (@DynastySanta)

After being introduced to fantasy football in 1999 as a wee lad still in middle school, I was hooked. I then began commishing my own keeper league 2 years later as a sophomore in high school, which has been running since. I used a computer program that required me to manually input weekly stats and had to print out summary packets each week to deliver to league owners at the bowling alley. I loved it. Stats and numbers and the competitiveness of being "right" about players was just an incredible high that not many other activities or hobbies have ever provided me. Around 2005 we migrated to the CBS sports site. I found a new love then, writing about our league. Each year after the draft I would "grade" each owner's team. It became almost as anticipated as the draft itself. Also, most weeks I'd recap the league's games and criticize start/sits while boasting my own accolades as long as I won that week. Dynasty, IDP & Superflex are the next evolutions in my fantasy football journey. I'm a Philly suburbs guy, GO BIRDS. Follow me on Twitter @dynastysanta
