As the 2022 NFL season approaches the halfway mark, NYC football is buzzing! Both the NY Giants and Jets boast winning records, and expectations have been raised. Playoff aspirations are no longer a pipedream. However, who would you select if you had a bushel of apples to wager on which New York team will complete the season with the most wins?
The North East is picking sides! Heck, even parts of Betway Sports Canada are getting involved in the NY Football debate, and so should you!

New York Giants Overview
Big Blue will enter Week 9 on a bye, giving players like Evan Neal, Daniel Bellinger, and Kenny Golladay an opportunity to heal. If you are looking to back the New York Football Giants' win total, here are a few points to hang your hat on:
- Brian Daboll can coach. He has the team playing in an organized manner. Currently, he is the odds-on favorite at +250 for coach of the year.
- Daniel Jones Playing mistake-free football Saquon Barkley is atop the rushing leaderboard.
- When the team resumes action in week 10 – they will have two winnable home games in a row. (Vs Houston Texans & Detroit Lions)
Your concerns, historically speaking NYG, have not played well within their division. The Giants are 4-16 in their last 20 against the Cowboys and Eagles. 5 of their last 7 games are all within the division.

New York Jets Overview
The Gang Green pass rush has become one of the NFL's best. Quinnen William has been dominant! The Week 6 AFC player of the week continues to evolve. "Teams are paying attention to Quinnen and making sure that he doesn't do damage," HC Robert Saleh said. "And the other guys have to step up and win their one-on-ones. So, it's a good problem to have and a problem that we're welcoming."
Quinnen is just the tip of the JETS' iceberg. Sauce Gardner can also flat-out ball! He was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week in 7 for his play against the Denver Broncos. In looking at matchups against the Bears, Patriots, Lions, Jaguars, Seahawks, and Dolphins – all very winnable games.
A few things are a cause for concern:
- I am not sold on the Quarterback just yet. I need to see more from Zach Wilson.
- You're still the JETS. You have a LONG history of screwing things up! (#Buttfumble)

Over / Under Win Total Prediction
I trust the Giants' coach and quarterback more than I do the Jets. Here is the silver lining for both organizations. The two organizations will both conclude the year with winning records! I am going with:
New York Giants = 12 & 5
New York Jets = 9 & 7
